How it works

Three steps. Zero effort.

01

Connect your cards

Securely link your credit cards in 60 seconds. Drip reads your rewards — nothing else. Read-only, bank-grade encryption.

02

We detect your rewards

Every time cashback hits your account, Drip sees it automatically. No manual entry, no spreadsheets, no thinking.

03

It gets invested

The equivalent amount sweeps into your Drip brokerage account and buys index ETFs like VTI. Free money, compounding.

Questions

The stuff you're wondering.

Is my card data safe?
+
Drip uses Plaid — the same read-only bank connection used by Venmo, Coinbase, and thousands of other apps. We can see your transactions but cannot move money from your card or bank. Ever.
Where does the money actually go?
+
Into a brokerage account in your name, held by our custodian partner. You own the shares outright. Drip buys low-cost index ETFs (like VTI or VOO) by default — you can customize this later.
How does Drip know what's cashback vs a regular transaction?
+
We detect reward credit postings from your card statements — these show up as distinct transaction types. During beta we review edge cases manually and improve accuracy with real data.
What cards are supported?
+
Most major US cashback credit cards — Chase, Amex, Citi, Capital One, and more. During beta we'll confirm your specific card works when you onboard. Points-based cards are not supported yet.
What does Drip cost?
+
Free during the beta period. After that, a small flat monthly fee — no percentage of assets, no hidden fees. You'll always know exactly what you're paying.
Can I withdraw my money?
+
Yes — it's your money and your brokerage account. You can withdraw anytime. Standard brokerage settlement times apply (typically 2 business days).
